The Problem

Chick-fil-A is known for its dedication to service, excellence, and hospitality.  The Savannah market  previously hosted an annual 5k in order to raise money for Savannah Young Life to help send high schoolers in the surrounding area to summer camp. However, awareness of the event was not growing at the desirable rate.  They needed help cultivating a social media presence and branding the race to grow awareness and participation. 


Our Solution

In order to reach a greater audience, we created a social media calendar to increase the quality of the content produced and grow their following.  In addition, we pitched a fully branded event equipped with a thoughtfully designed logo, t-shirt and medal for participants.  To advertise, we curated printed flyers for display throughout the city, scheduled social media posts, and created a memorable name for the race--the Rise and Run 5k.  After implementing our marketing and branding strategy, race registration increased by 44% from 2016 to 2017.
