Digital Marketing Coordinator

  • What you'll be responsible for

    • Creating content and social media strategies that meet customer needs and business goals

    • Producing and/or working with in-house marketing teams to deliver said strategic content

    • Writing and editing copy to make every word count

    • Executing social media and digital marketing strategies for both Second Mile Marketing and our clients

    • Capturing photo and video content that capture people’s eyes and make them “heart” your work

    • Managing projects,, coordinating multi-disciplinary project teams, and managing client relationships

    • Working with project teams to understand business goals and identify customer needs

    • Implementing social media community engagement and management best practices

    • Monitoring, optimizing, analyzing and reporting on social media and digital marketing tactics

    • Other tasks as assigned

    Job Requirements

    • Undergraduate degree in Marketing, Communications, or Advertising

    • 2-4 years of content creation, strategy and copywriting experience

    • Experience developing and implementing content strategies

    • Deep familiarity with social media trends

    • Experience developing and owning digital branding, photography, and videography

    • Superb communication skills, both verbal and written

    • Self-starter with creative problem solving skills

    • Familiarity with content management systems

    • Experience with social media, email marketing, content marketing, and visual editing software

    Bonus Skills:

    • Prior Chick-fil-A experience



We offer both year-long and semester internship for students. If you are accepted to our internship program you’ll work together with other interns to form a type of mini-agency within Second Mile Marketing. Interns choose an aspect of the marketing process they’re interested in learning about and execute tasks and projects within that role.

Our semester internships are unpaid internships and year-long internships include a semester stipend.
