She has cherished, supported, defended, and loved me since the start. My mom has been my biggest supporter and a true example of sacrificial love. She has taught me far too many lessons to list. Here are three that stand out at this particular chapter in my life:

Keep fighting- My mom battled with depression for 25+ years. Her relentless quest to get well has taught me that I am way stronger than I think. Even in the darkest of circumstances, I can always find the strength to endure.

It's never too late- She had me young. I'm talking, barely able to order a glass of Rose, young. I kind of put a damper on her "life plan." Despite fear and naysayers, just this year she boldly headed back to school to pursue her dreams. Looking to her example, I am constantly reminded to be courageous and take the road less traveled

Above all have Faith- As a child, I had a ton of questions about God. I constantly fired questions like; "Why does the bible say this?" and "How do you explain that?" at my mom. She always answered to the best of her ability but at the end of the day, all of her answers pointed back to Grace. Her unwavering faith in the constant uncertainty of life inspires me every day.

I'm thankful that I get to share my life with such an inspiring woman.

My mom has made a tremendous impact on my life, particularly when it comes to being a female business owner and entrepreneur. After a family tragedy I watched my mom rise to the occasion and do whatever it took to provide for our family. As both a mom and a boss lady I look to her as an inspiration and mentor. Whenever I think about how hard it is to run a business I think about the long hours she puts in for her business and the even longer hours she's worked being an incredible mom. If it wasn't for her I obviously wouldn't be here, but most importantly I wouldn't be the person I am today without the lessons she was so faithful to instill in my life. I'm sure it would've been easier for her to take shortcuts or slack off, but I've never met someone so determined but also loving and kind. If I end up being half the person my mom is when I'm a mom then I'll count my life as a success. I don't always take her advice, but she's pretty darn smart so someone out there should.

My mom has had an amazing influence on me her whole life. She has taught me what it means to be strong, whether it be in my relationships or when I am having a bad day. The coolest part about moms and mine, in particular, is that she is always there to pick me up when I'm down. She has shown me how to persevere in life and how to find the little joys each day, even when she is not feeling very joyous. I wouldn't be where I am today if I didn't have the support that she has shown.

This summer she surprised me for my 21st birthday when I could not be at home, it was the best present I could've been given. I will never forget when I saw her car in my driveway when I had no idea she was coming down. It was this feeling of love and joy that I will never forget, that she cared for me so much to drive 10 hours just to see me for two days. She has sacrificed a lot for her children and given me more than I could have imagined. She also has these one-liners that can make anyone laugh. Ultimately my mom has shown me what it means to be strong, work hard, love and live life to the fullest.

Proverbs 31:25 says "She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come." And that's exactly what my mom is doing, she brings pure joy to my heart and I am thankful for her and the friendship we have.

My mom’s influence on me has been integral in shaping me to be who I am today. Not only is she one of the sweetest and kindest people in the world, she’s also the strongest woman I’ve ever encountered. She has always been supportive of me and teaches me new things every single day. Now that I’m an adult, I can truly appreciate how wonderful my mom is and how blessed I am. She’s my #1 Fan, always my first call when life hits me and my very best friend. She respects my passions and has always taught me that no dream is “too” big, you just have to work harder to get there. She’s raised me to be a lady and has been the best role model I could ever ask for. I love you mom!

So this Mother's Day, go all out! These amazing women deserve it and so much more.
